Some horses come with a long list of rules. Clint did not get that memo. He’s the kind that makes riding feel easy, relaxed, and enjoyable—no negotiations required. Swing a leg over, point him where you’d like to go, and he’s happy to oblige.
Clint has a quiet, willing demeanor and a good sense about him. He’s the type that keeps things calm and doesn’t feel the need to add drama to your ride. If you’re looking for a horse that prefers doing his job over making a scene, Clint fits the bill.
In the arena, Clint keeps things smooth and uncomplicated. He walks, trots, and lopes with an easy rhythm, picks up his leads, stops off your seat, and backs willingly. He neck reins nicely, stays light in the bridle, and doesn’t require micromanaging to ride well.
Outside the arena is where Clint really earns his keep. He’s sure-footed on the trail, handles hills, brush, and water crossings, and approaches new scenery like he’s seen it before (even when he hasn’t). He’s been around flags, tarps, balls, bridges, pool noodles, traffic, dogs, and farm equipment and treats them all like background noise. He’s also been around cattle and has been roping the lead steer without any objections.
On the ground, Clint is just as agreeable. He tacks up quietly, stands to be groomed, loads and hauls well, and is great for the farrier. He does well in a stall or pasture and rides out alone or in a group without fuss.
