He is patient, gentle, easy going and willingly does whatever he is asked. He will walk, trot, and slow lope but even more importantly, he stops and stands and will tolerate kids climbing up, under, and around him. He has three soft and slow gates that makes it easy for riders to sit. He is the perfect mount for children to learn on both in the arena and out on the trail. He rides on and loose rein and is consistent day in and day out. Gravy will move up and step out with a kid when they are ready. He requires no prep and does not have a mean bone in his body. Plain and simple, Gravy is easy to ride. Gravy is great on the trails. He rides away from home quietly alone or in any position in the group. He crosses creeks and deep mud without hesitation and rides carefully up and down steep hills. He rides quietly through cow pastures and is steady and predictable. Gravy has camped with us and tied like a champ to the trailer for overnights. He has been ridden in costume parties and is not bothered by loud music, strobe lights, tarps, swinging ropes or bull whips. Gravy drives the very best and has lots of road experience. He stands quietly to be hitched and is just about as automatic as they come between the shafts of the cart. He is soft to drive and is easy enough for even the youngest family member take the reins….literally. He is traffic safe and stands perfectly when stopped.
